Regarding the look of Anton Chigurh in "No country for old men," the Coen brothers say, "Chigurh's distinctive look was derived from a 1979 photo from a book supplied by Tommy Lee Jones which featured photos of brothel patrons on the Texas-Mexico border."
I call bullshit.
Chigurh's look is obviously based on the Golem, the legendary jewish stone assassin.
